Another name for Egypt which is more formal is known to be the Arab Republic of Egypt. Most of Egypt is situated in North Africa with the minor land remaining is situated on Asia’s southwest corner. Egypt’s neighbours are the Mediterranean Sea, the Gaza Strip, Israel, the Gulf of Aqaba, the Red Sea, Sudan and Libya.
