As the world economy has become increasingly globalized, the need for greater visa-free access has grown steadily. South Africa was ranked 51 out of 104 countries, tied with Belize. Both countries have 100 countries accessible visa free or upon arrival. With 189 countries accessible, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea all hold the top spot on the list. Germany (188 countries and Denmark (187 countries) taking second and third respectively.  At 150 countries, the Seychelles is the African country with the most accessible destinations.
